The Liberation Journey™

A nine-month immersion
in liberation as a practice
held in body and community.

A high-touch, trauma-informed container rooted in The Liberation Method™. Relational. Somatic. Community-centered. You arrive as you are. You stay across seasons. The work is held with you.

You do not need to arrive fully formed.

What this is

A relational container

A small cohort (7–30 people) holds you across nine months. This is not a course you complete — it's a practice you return to.

Liberation in body

We work somatically. The nervous system is part of the curriculum. Awareness becomes embodied. Embodiment becomes praxis.

Held with transmission

Teaching arrives through relationship — not just content. We move together through The Liberation Method™ in real time.

Community accountability

You are accountable to yourself and to one another. The container holds the work of being honest, being known, and staying.

The Three Houses of Liberation

House One — Self

The inner terrain. Awareness, nervous system, story, body. Returning to yourself as the first practice.

House Two — Home

The intimate ecology. Family, partnership, the rooms we live in. How liberation lives in the everyday.

House Three — Work

The wider field. Offering, vocation, community, world. How the work of liberation moves outward without leaving the body behind.

The Bridge of Transmutation

What we have been carrying becomes what we move through.

The bridge is the work between the houses — naming the patterns of white-body supremacy and colonization that live in us, and letting them be transmuted in relationship. Not bypassed. Not performed. Practiced.

Who this is for

If any of these feel like home, you are welcome here.

  • People already doing liberation work who want a deeper, embodied root system.
  • Educators carrying classrooms, curriculum, and other people's becoming.
  • Helpers and healers — therapists, coaches, facilitators, doulas, chaplains.
  • Parents practicing liberation inside the everyday geography of a home.
  • Organizers who are tired, tender, or burning out — and ready to be held.
  • Anyone seeking embodied practice instead of performative theory.

Move at the pace your body can stay with.

Who this is not for — said with care

Some containers ask for things this one does not.

These boundaries exist to protect the people who say yes. If any of these describe where you are right now, this may not be the right season — and that is honest information, not a verdict.

  • Debate culture. We are not here to argue liberation into being.
  • Performative allyship. The work asks for honesty over optics.
  • Urgency-driven consumption. This is not content to finish.
  • Seeking quick certification without practice. There is no shortcut around the body.

What happens over nine months

A rhythm, not a curriculum.

  1. Months 1–3

    House One — Awareness

We begin in the inner terrain. Nervous system, story, the weather of the body. Noticing without rushing to fix. Returning to yourself as the first practice.

  2. Month 4

    The Bridge — Transmutation

The work between the houses. Naming what we have been carrying, and letting it be transmuted in relationship. Not bypassed. Not performed. Practiced.

  3. Months 5–7

    House Two — Embodied Practice

Liberation moves into the everyday. Home, family, partnership, the rooms we live in. Practice becomes how you live, not what you study.

  4. Months 8–9

    House Three — Transmission

How the work moves outward without leaving the body behind. Vocation, offering, community, world. You leave with practice that travels with you.

What support looks like

You are not asked to carry this alone.

A held community

Ongoing access to a small, tended cohort space between sessions.

Live calls

Regular gatherings across the nine months — taught, facilitated, and held by Desireé.

Reflection practices

Prompts and rhythms you can return to between calls. Slow, not prescriptive.

Somatic integration

Embodied practices for moving what arises through the body instead of around it.

Self / Home / Work praxis

The Three Houses framework, applied in real time across the actual geography of your life.

Direct access to Desireé

Inside the container, not from a distance. Small cohort by design so the relationship can be real.

This is a practice space, not a performance space.

Ways to enter

Choose what holds you well.

Each path holds the same seat. Nothing is more or less complete.

Scholarship / Sliding Scale

By application

For those held by financial precarity. Held in trust, not earned.

On scholarship & access

Access is part of the practice.

A portion of seats each cohort are held for participants whose relationship to money makes the full price inaccessible. This is not earned. It is part of how the container is held in integrity.

Soft questions

A few honest answers.

What if I miss sessions?

You will. Life moves through us. Sessions are recorded and the container holds your seat even when you cannot be in the room. Returning is part of the practice.

Do I need prior experience?

No. You need willingness, not preparation. The work meets you wherever your body is when you arrive.

Is this therapy?

No. This is a trauma-informed practice container, not clinical treatment. If you are in active crisis, please be held by a therapist or care team alongside — or instead of — this work.

Can I do the payment plan?

Yes. Nine monthly payments of $397 are available without application. A $500 deposit option holds your seat if you need to begin there and arrange the rest later.

How much time does this require weekly?

Plan for roughly 2–4 hours a week between live calls, reflection, and community. Some weeks are quieter. The rhythm is built to be sustainable across nine months — not to consume you.

How many people are in a cohort?

Between 7 and 30 participants. Small enough to be known.

What about refunds?

Deposits are non-refundable. Pay-in-full and monthly plans can be discussed individually if circumstance changes mid-journey.

Can I cancel my monthly plan?

Yes. You'll have a self-service billing portal to manage your card, view invoices, or pause/cancel your monthly plan.

From those who have moved through

Reflections, held in trust.

Words from previous cohorts will live here as participants choose to share them. Until then, this space is intentionally quiet.

Before you enter

This work asks for honesty.
It asks for presence.

It asks for your willingness to remain in relationship — with yourself, with others, and with the world you are helping to shape. You are not being sold to. You are being invited. Take the time you need. Talk to your body. If yes arrives, the door is here. If not yet, that is also welcome.

Move at the pace your body can stay with.
