Why it works the way it does
Pace is part of the pedagogy.
Most learning environments ask for speed, completion, mastery. The academy is held the other way. You are not behind. There is nothing to finish — only what you are choosing to hold and return to.
Membership is what keeps the rooms held, the practice tended, and the space free of the extractive logic of platforms.
